Vancouver writer Don McLellan has worked as a journalist in Canada, South Korea and Hong Kong. His work has been nominated or shortlisted for a Western Canada Magazine award, a Tabbies International Editorial and Design award, a Kenneth R. Wilson Memorial business writing award and The Commonwealth Short Story Prize. His debut collection of short stories, In the Quiet After Slaughter (Libros Libertad), was a 2009 ReLit Award finalist. Brunch with the Jackals, his second story collection, was published by Thistledown Press in 2015.
